Abstract: A new environmentally benign, convenient and facile method is reported for the synthesis of Chromeno fused 2,4-diamino-3-cyanopyridines (4a-l) via tri component one pot reaction of Salicyaldehydes, malanonitrile, and thiols using 5Ǻ molecular sieves as catalyst under microwave irradiation condition.
