Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this study is to test the efficacy of three different concentrations of cones of coenzyme Q10 on the activity of key periodontal pathogens. Material and methods: CoQ10 cones of three concentrations i.e. 1%, 2% and 3% were formulated using combination of different polymers and their microbiological activity were tested on four periodontal pathogens including P. gingivalis, A. actinomycetemcomitans, P. intermedia, and T. forsythia. Zone of inhibition and MIC were performed. Statistical analysis was done for intergroup comparison.
