Abstract

Every institution, whether public or private, profit-oriented or not, regardless of size or sort of operation, necessitates enough operating capital. Working capital management is a critical aspect of company management.It is the most critical aspect in assuring any corporate organization's survival, liquidity, solvency, and profitability. The funds utilized to fulfill these charges are referred to collectively as working capital. A company requires sufficient finance to purchase raw materials and pay day-to-day operating expenses. With the importance of working capital management as an in capital tends and practice distinct area of corporate finance function in mind, an attempt has been made to investigate the working tise specificity in the FMCG sectors in India by selecting five top listed FMCG companies from the Indian Stock Exchange.
