Primary problem of a farmer is marketing. List of several problems faced by Indian farmers. Loss of agricultural land. Lack of infrastructure in the agriculture sector. Duplicate seeds. Manures, fertilizers, and biocides. Irrigation problems. Lack of mechanization. Soil erosion. The objective of the study is to analyze the Challenges Faced by Farmers with Special Reference to Trichy. The study based only on the opinion and expectation of consumer. Total number of sample taken for the study is 120 respondents. Convenience sampling techniques were used for the study. Primary data and secondary data have been used in the study. Simple percentage analysis, chi square analysis and correlation analysis have been applied in this study to reach the finding of the study. It is found that there is some significant relationship between farming in agriculture land and production problems. It is suggested that meet rising demand for more food of higher quality and adopt and learn new technologies. It is concluded that the young people won't stay in the village, because they want to earn more money to satisfy all their new needs due to a village makes no progress if its farmers are not modern.
