Abstract

Background: Heart failure is a medical condition that occurs when the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs.1 It is a chronic and progressive condition that can affect the heart's ability to supply oxygen-rich blood to the body's organs and tissues.2 There are two main types of heart failure: systolic heart failure and diastolic heart failure. In systolic heart failure, the heart muscle becomes weakened and is unable to contract effectively, leading to reduced pumping ability.
