Nowadays, the most frequent cause of dementia is Alzheimer's Disease (AD), a progressive neurological condition. Although it can affect younger people as well, it typically affects elderly persons. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterised by a slow deterioration in cognitive function, memory loss, behavioural and personality abnormalities, and challenges with daily tasks. Although the precise aetiology of AD is still unknown, it is thought to be a result of a mix of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors
