Abstract

It is many times forgotten that menstruation is all about reproductive health. In many areas it is seen as pollution and menstrual restrictions and practices are considered as taboos. Strong campaigns to eradicate such myths have been prevailing since decades. Men’s attitude can accentuate the behaviour of women. The present study is conducted with an aim to know the attitude and perception of menstrual practices amongst adult men and to know their perception related with menstruation. 121 men of age 20 to 81years of rural and urban area of Anand district of Gujarat were studied through mixed methodology of qualitative and quantitative survey
