Trust plays a pivotal role in cloud computing, where it heavily relies on the perception of reputation and self-evaluation conducted by cloud service providers. This article initiates by conducting a comprehensive examination of current trustestablishing mechanisms while shedding light on their inherent constraints. Subsequently, we tackle these limitations by introducing more robust mechanisms that rely on substantiating evidence, attribute certification, and validation. We propose a framework that integrates diverse trust mechanisms to uncover interconnected trust chains within the cloud environment.
