This paper presents a comprehensive set of recommendations aimed at fortifying and expanding the adoption of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in India. With a burgeoning population and an overwhelming backlog of cases, the Indian judiciary faces formidable challenges. ADR methods offer a promising solution by providing efficient and accessible avenues for dispute resolution. This paper advocates for a multi-faceted approach that encompasses legal literacy campaigns, integration of ADR education into curricula, establishment of robust mediation centers, and engagement of the legal community
