Mineral trioxide aggregate(MTA) has been widely used as a root end filling material. Different studies have been carried out on the evaluation of apical sealing ability of MTA. But the results were conflicting. Also sample size used in the studies were not enough to conclude the efficacy of the materials like MTA plus and MTA angelus.
