Abstract

Peripheral nerve regeneration needs research. Studying nerve regeneration requires animal models. Acute peripheral nerve crush injury animal models are not standard. This study compares nerve clamping time-based animal models of peripheral nerve crush injury. There is no standard method for generating acute nerve crush injury, and nerve clamping time can vary between investigations. Many studies employ animal models to explore peripheral nerve regeneration. This work reveals the best nerve clamping period for a peripheral nerve crush injury animal model, which can help researchers design more uniform and similar experiments. This study compares nerve clamping time-based animal models of peripheral nerve crush injury
