Ten new 2,6-dimethyl quinoline triazole derivatives with different substituents in the triazole moiety were synthesized via copper-catalyzed cycloaddition (CuAAC) click chemistry between 4- Azido-2,6-dimethylquinoline and ten different terminal alkynes. All the synthesized compounds were characterized via different spectroscopic tools such as IR, MS, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR, techniques to elucidate their structures and the spectral analysis of the compounds was in agreement with the proposed structures.
