The necessity of Electronic Health Records (EHR) has become evident over the past few decades but, the issues surrounding it have made it seem like a downgrade in comparison with the previous hassle-filled maintenance of physical health records. Some of the common problems include unstructured data storage, lack of data interoperability, absence of data accessibility, privacy concerns, lack of transparency, and vulnerability to data hacks and leaks.
