Abstract

For the detection of two anti-diabetic medications, Dapaglifloxin and Metformin hydrochloride, in formulations, a high-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) approach was created and validated. Toluene, ethyl acetate, and formic acid (3: 6.5: 0.5 v/v/v) were used as the mobile phase in the study. For direct analysis of the chromatograms in the absorbance mode, a scanner tuned at 235 nm was employed. Method was approved in accordance with ICH recommendations.
