Abstract

Objectives: The goals of the study were to develop, describe, and test the efinaconazole-loaded niosomes in Nail Lacquer so that they could be used to treat onychomycosis. Methods: Using different ratios of non-ionic surfactants (Span 60 and Pluronic L121) and cholesterol, Efinaconazole niosomes were made using the probing sonication method. This was done to try to improve the poor penetration of topical medications into the skin and reduce the negative side effects that come with them. The niosomes that were made were tested for their size, how well they trapped drugs
