The burden of diabetes is skyrocketing globally and is a challenge for developing countries like India, where a large young population is suffering from this disease. The increasing rise of obesity and unhealthy lifestyles mainly fuels the prevalence. Type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) at a young age will not only affect the output but make one vulnerable to complications in the future. Insulin resistance is considered as the main reason for T2DM, and several factors are responsible for it.
