To describe and discuss the treatment of a challenging case of fusion between permanent left maxillary lateral incisor with a supernumerary tooth. BACKGROUND: Fused tooth, also known as dental fusion, is a rare dental anomaly where two adjacent teeth in the dental arch are joined together, resulting in a single large tooth structure. This can occur in both primary and permanent teeth and is often detected during routine dental exams or radiographic imaging. Fused teeth can lead to complications such as malocclusion, esthetic concerns, and dental caries due to difficulty in maintaining proper oral hygiene. The etiology of fused teeth is not well understood, but it may result from genetic factors, trauma, or developmental anomalies
