This study discusses the application of English films to increase students' vocabularyat Islamic senior high school in Banten. The type of research used is quantitative, the data collection technique uses observation, tests and documentation. The sample of this study amounted to 25 students of class 10 IPA in the first session 13 students as the test group and 12 other students in the second session as the control group in Banten. The data analysis techniques used were pretest and posttest. which is where data analysis uses Independentsample t-test. The results of the study found that English subtitles in movies could affect the vocabulary of class X IPA in Banten
