The present study was aimed to assess the hepatoprotective activity of ethanolic extract of Stereospermum colais Linn. (S. colais) leaves against paracetamol-induced liver damage in Wistar rats. The liver damage was induced by the administration of paracetamol (2000mg/kg/day, p.o) on 7 th day. Other groups of rats were pretreated with two doses of S. colais (200mg/kg and 400mg/kg) and silymarin (25mg/kg, bw, p.o.) 30 min prior to paracetamol administration
