Abstract

The global Covid-19 epidemic is still spreading, and its detrimental effects on people's mental health are just now becoming apparent. Students are acting as the healthcare system's backup talent since they are not yet professionally developed enough to handle the worst worldwide public health crises. This may exert increased mental stress and loneliness feelings, which in turn undesirably influence the student’s future career choices. To address the issue, we conducted a digital survey using ‘SurveyMonkey software’, investigating how the epidemic affects the mental health as well as the career attitude of students during severe public health crises such as the Covid-19 pandemic
