Factors Influencing Choice of Career Pathways among Adolescents

Abstract

One of many essential decisions students will make in defining Career choice is one of their potential aims. They will be impacted by this action in the long term. Because it affects the patterns of a personality and life attitude of an individual. Career plays a crucial and fundamental role in their lifestyles. The study's goal was to determine the factors that influence the adolescents in selecting career pathways and a choice among the available career options. In present study revealed that there are three categories of factors influencing choice of career pathways score. The majority of score (41.3%) belongs to average factors influencing choice of career pathways (67-99), (35.0%) belongs to the good factors influencing choice of career pathways (100-132) and lastly (23.8%) belongs to the poor factors influencing choice of career pathways (0-66).
