The allocation of fiscal responsibilities and powers between different levels of government is a critical aspect of decentralized governance systems, commonly referred to as fiscal federalism. The primary objective of this scholarly article is to present an all-encompassing evaluation of fiscal federalism, encompassing its fundamental constituents, advantages, obstacles, and factual data derived from case studies conducted in the United States, Canada, and Germany.
