Abstract
In this study, the antidiabetic drug repaglinide was formulated as a gastroretentive mucoadhesive tablet to increase its bioavailability. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose K200M, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, carbomer 974P, karaya gum, chitosan and xanthan gum are used as mucoadhesive polymers in the tablet formulation. Various formulations have been prepared using different polymer concentrations
