Background: Luliconazole is a topical broad-spectrum antifungal drug. It has lower aqueous solubility that limits dermal bioavailability and acts as a barrier to topical delivery. Objectives: Aim of the current study was to formulate proniosomal gel of Luliconazole in order to incorporate lipophilic or poorly water soluble drug in formulations and deliver topically using different surfactants (Span and Tween), cholesterol, solvent (ethanol) and aqueous phase (Distilled water).
