Purpose: Dry eye syndrome also known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca is a disorder of the tear film which occurs due to tear deficiency or excessive tear evaporation and may causes damage to the ocular surface. To control this disorder artificial tears or tear substitutes are used. In the present study an attempt has been made to minimize the evaporation of tear from ocular surface using castor oil and coconut oil in water nano emulsion and it’s stability was assessed.
