Abstract

This research article explores the concept of mindfulness and its relevance to management practices. Mindfulness, characterized by non-judgmental awareness of the present moment, has gained recognition for its potential to enhance focus, well-being, and decision-making in a managerial context. The objectives of this study are to examine the concept of mindfulness, explore its potential benefits in management. The literature review reveals that mindfulness practices offer numerous advantages for managers. By cultivating self-awareness, managers can better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, leading to improved decision-making and interpersonal interactions. Mindfulness also enhances communication by promoting active listening and empathy. Furthermore, mindfulness helps managers manage stress and build resilience, enabling them to navigate high-pressure situations effectively. Additionally, mindfulness fosters a mindset of curiosity and openness, enhancing creativity and adaptability.
