Background: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in children can be associated with various clinical conditions. The infection is the major contributor to peptic ulcer disease in children. In addition, it was suggested by some researchers to be a risk factor for iron deficiency anemia and growth impairment. Aim: To determine the prevalence of anemia, and the anthropometric measurements (weight for age and height for age z-scores) in children with H. pylori infection
