Medicinal plants are the valuable sources of new bioactive compounds known as phytochemicals. Investigation on the plant based antibacterial compounds and the development of drugs against various infectious diseases with the goal of discovering new drugs is the order of research in scenario of nutritional disadvantages and pandemic disease outbreak.
