In this environment, digital skills and competencies are essential to achieving professional success and personal growth for everyone. In this research, we tried to clarify some basic concepts in the field of digital technologies, as well as their current impact on the educational process. The main purpose of this paper is to reflect the impact of digitization on Indian education sector. The importance of the topics covered can be justified with many arguments, but mainly refers to the need to achieve the goals proposed by the Strategy 2020 in the field of education, research, and development.
