The case is written in a first person conversation format, to bring out the nuances involved. A routine conversation between two colleagues skyrocketed into a disciplinary issue. The implications can be discussed to bring out the different concepts in human resource management and organizational behaviour. The case is original and based on real-life experience. The name of the institution, place and characters is disguised as the institution did not want it to be made public.
