Background: Laser assisted hatching (LAH) is a technique used in assisted reproductive technology to increase the chances of successful pregnancy in couples struggling with infertility. Advanced maternal age has been identified as a risk factor for decreased fertility and increased rates of chromosomal abnormalities in embryos, leading to a decrease in the success rate of in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures.
