In the laboratory-scale experiment, the potential of an inexpensive lignocellulosic refused lemon grass biomaterial was converted into adsorbent for the removal of lead ions from their aqueous solutions. The Lemon grass (LG) converted into adsorbent by treating with alkali solutions of NaOH (sodium hydroxide) at concentrations of 5 wt% at 80 °C for 2 h
