Abstract

Nurse-led patient education programs play a crucial role in the management and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in the cardiology department. This review article aims to explore the impact of nurse-led patient education programs on patient outcomes, adherence to treatment plans, and overall quality of care in the field of cardiology. The review will examine various aspects of nurse-led patient education programs, including their design, implementation, and effectiveness in improving patient knowledge, self-care behaviors, and health-related quality of life. Furthermore, the article will discuss the challenges and barriers faced by nurses in delivering patient education in the cardiology setting and propose strategies to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of these programs.
