ONE POT SYNTHESIS OF Fe3O4/MWCNT NANOCOMPOSITE USING NANOMATERIAL SYNTHESIZER

Abstract

Iron oxide nanoparticles have attracted considerable interest in various applications owing to their unique properties like their extraordinary magnetic properties, surface area to volume ratio, easy separation and larger surface area. multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) have been investigated considerably, as they have high aspect ratio and good thermal, mechanical, optical, and electrical capabilities. The conjugation between Fe3O4 nanoparticles and MWCNT has been found to have enhanced properties. This composite has been found to have multiple applications in biomedical, electronics, etc. In this work, we have used NANOCORPSTM VX100 Nanomaterial Synthesizer for the synthesis of Fe3O4 NP/MWCNT nano-composite. The material was characterized and was found to be successfully synthesized.
