Increasing resistance of microorganisms to clinically used antimicrobial drugs is the major cause of morbidity and transience throughout the globe. Therefore, development of novel antimicrobial agents will always be in demand for medicinal chemists. Pyrazoles derivatives constitutes an important class of medicinal agents having widespread pharmacological activities such as antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, antiviral, antitumour, anticonvulsant and antidepressant activities etc. Prompted by these observations, this review article is entitled to represent antimicrobial potential of novel pyrazole derivatives to curb the menace of microbial resistance towards antibiotics to treat microbial infections effectively.
