Objective: To Compare the Role of Intact Pleura Versus Open Pleura After Left Internal Mammary (LIMA) Harvesting During Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) In Fast Track Extubation. Recovery of Postoperative Pulmonary Functions and Respiratory Complications. Patients and Methods: Sixty adult patients undergoing elective on-pump CABG were randomly divided into 2 groups: Group I (n=30) with LIMA harvesting without pleurotomy, and Group II (n=30) with LIMA harvesting with pleurotomy.
