The author of this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of firewall systems for network security. In some cases, a firewall is unable to completely protect against all risks brought on by unauthorised access to a network. The author gave a brief overview of attacks that still take advantage of networks after firewall implementation. As a result, NGFW Pfsense is used to build a secure network employing a variety of infrastructure types. By utilising the three stages of the firewall and thoroughly inspecting each data packet to determine whether any were tampered with during transmission, NGFWs offer policies for the network's protection. A thorough investigation of several firewalls has previously been conducted and is briefly presented in this paper.
