Abstract

A copper (II) catalyzed Baeyer-Villiger reaction of 2-butanone in the presence of oxygen and 2-amino-5-nitropyridine produced crystals of bis(2-amino-5-nitropyridine)tetraacetatedicopper(II) dehydrate.
