Abstract

Noise reduction has turned into a fundamental errand in medicinal Ultrasound (US) imaging because of the presence of multiplicative (speckle) noise. As of late, there are a few denoising techniques such as median filter (MF), Bilateral filter (BF), Weiner filter (WF), Homomorphic filter (HF), etc., have been proposed to remove the Speckle Noise (SN). Notwithstanding, these denoising systems were found to stifle the speckle alongside with the original information of the image, which is now and then implied as over-sifting
