Abstract

Information technology (IT) industries play significant role in economic and overall growth of India as they provide employment to large number of Indian people. Employee well-being (EWB) has consistently been found to be objectively relevant to all types of industries and employees and has evolved a broad area of research in the current scenario. Theoretically and scientifically, a significant amount of attention with several limitations has been devoted to statistically measuring the EWB. Therefore, for the first time, this paper provides an exploratory and confirmatory analysis (EFA and CFA) based scale to measure the EWB of IT employees.
