Abstract

Metabolic syndrome (MS) comprises a collection of conditions that together raise the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD), insulin resistance (IR), stroke, fatty liver, cancers, and other serious health problems. Our study aims to identify the protective effect of dulaglutide and ivabradine on MS-induced in male albino rats by adding 30% sucrose to drinking water. Rats were divided into six groups: three groups have not been sucrose-fed (control, dulaglutide, and ivabradine); and three groups have been sucrose-fed (sucrose, dulaglutide + sucrose, and ivabradine + sucrose).
