Nurses play a crucial role in addressing the complex needs of individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs). This review article examines the multifaceted responsibilities of nurses in providing comprehensive care and support to this vulnerable population. The article explores the various interventions and strategies employed by nurses to promote recovery, prevent relapse, and improve the overall well-being of individuals with SUDs.
