Abstract
The present investigation is to study the variation of d-spacing and pitch of mixture of liquid crystalline samples as a function of temperature and the study also covered the possibility of enlarging temperature range of Blue Phase of liquid crystal compound 4-(2-methylbytyl) phenyl 4-(4-octylphenyl) benzoate(CE8) by doping with non-mesomorphic chiral compound.
