Abstract

Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is one of the systems needed by a company to increase business success and corporate accountability based on legal regulations and ethical values. One form of corporate governance is the Anglo-America or shareholder model where corporate governance is determined based on share ownership in a company . The subject of this research is the largest chemical company in the world, namely the Dow Chemical Company. The purpose of this research is to see the results of the application of AngloAmerica governance to the Dow Chemical Company. This study uses a literature study research method in which the author uses library data collection techniques or existing literature to be reviewed and processed as research material according to the theme. The results of this study are that the shareholder governance model or Anglo-America at the Dow Chemical Company is very effective in helping to expand and increase corporate value while still holding onto the cultural values prevailing in society
