Abstract

This research delves into the innovative realm of utilizing photogrammetry techniques for digitally restoring and reconstructing heritage structures in the context of conservation practice. As historical and cultural monuments continue to face deterioration and risks, the integration of virtual restoration methods becomes pivotal for preserving their essence. Photogrammetry, a process that transforms photographs into accurate 3D models, emerges as a promising tool for this purpose. This study's objective is to explore the efficacy of photogrammetry in recreating intricate architectural details, textures, and spatial relationships, thus enabling a comprehensive virtual restoration of heritage structures.
