The purpose of this study was to find out the contributions, achievements and history of Smt. Yumnam Sanathoi Devi in the field of Wushu. A case study was designed to find out all the necessary and relevant information related to her career in the sport of Wushu. Primary data for the study was collected from official sources and through direct personal interview while Eysenck’s Personality Questionnaire (R) was used to assess her personality whereas secondary data was collected from various pictorial records, published materials, personal records and various websites. The collected data was analysed by using stastical technique of tabulation. It was found that Arjuna Awardee Smt. Yumnam Sanathoi Devi was an extrovert and an extraordinary athlete who had a difficult start to her career but with her hardwork and determination reached extraordinary heights of success.
