Abstract

Self-confidence tells about the attitude in relation to individual’s skills and abilities. It denotes that the person accepts trust and feels in charge of his life. He has a positive opinion of himself and is aware of both his strengths and weaknesses. Accordingly he sets his expectations and goals as per the requirement, and he will be able to communicate. When we are talking about academic achievement, it is the measurement of student’s performance in various subjects. Educators measure the student’s achievement using only classroom performance, and they present the results from standardized tests. It is strongly recommended by different socialist that along with academic performance students should also be measured on different social and cultural aspects and it also be incorporated in the result of the students performances. In this paper researcher has taken the different related studies held in past years to achieve the objective: to find the association of emotional intelligence with academic performance
