Abstract

Background: LUS is a crucial component of critical care ultrasonography because it enables the intensivist to assess the pleural space and the lung. LUS is the "go-to" modality for quickly, accurately, and safely scanning the lung and pleura due to its simplicity of use, speed, repeatability, and dependability. Aim of the Study: To evaluate the detection accuracy of Transthoracic ultrasound (TUS) for the identification of different pathological anomalies in severely ill patients, Utilizing CT as the gold standard.
