Abstract

Urinary tract infections (UTIs), one of the main causes of morbidity and comorbidity in patients with underlying conditions, account for the majority of hospital visits globally. The emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains is a serious problem and greatest challenge in public health care wherein the emergence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in the community setting and infections with this pathogen become a prevalent problem among UTI patients
